Four horsemen. Delicious. Energetic. Kabinett. Lime. — 7 months ago
Off dry on the sweeter side, petrol, acidic and light — 9 months ago
"Slow Decanting" this young spatlese over a couple of weeks with the Vinloq System
DAY 1
👃Careens from the chilled bottle with limes and apples plus minerality & petrol
👅Sweetness leads. Fruit, florals and acidity follow. The minerality is there for the finish. The acidity is fresh and palate cleaning. Lip smacking, if you will
The remaining wine was Slow Decanted for 18 days in my refrigerator
DAY 18
This hasn't budged during the interim. Apple, peach, pear with lime on the finish. The standard hallmarks of Falkenstein are present with the extra midpalate density seen in so many 2019
German riesling. Classy. Fresh. Clean
This 2019 is just getting started. It is delicious in this youthful, energetic state. I cannot wait to see where this goes as it develops over time in the cellar.

IM STILL THINKING ABOUT THIS ONE. a pet nat that can do no wrong. — 6 months ago
Slightly sweeter than off-dry but with such purity & balance. And the lightness is sublime.
White peaches & lime on the front with labor sharp acidity cutting through and finishing off on a stony, rocky mineral note with a hint of salinity.
This is mouthwatering delicious and begs for (yet) another sip. Simply made for terrace sipping!
Brilliant! — 6 months ago
Pear, lemon, lemon curd. Cloudy, acidic and yet lactic and soft. A tad touch of minerality on the finish with hints of calcium. Tiny bubbles but lively enough. Really dig this one. — a year ago

NV. Landwein der Saar, Los Nr 25-23. Pretty sure the chickens on the label meant that it would be great with Korean fried chicken wings, it is. Apple, lime, and bready aromas and flavors. — 4 months ago
