At Cindy’s with Fing. Mistaken bottle. Golden color, clearly aged with touch of oxidation but lots of complex aromatics. Excellent — a month ago

Consistent and satisfying at $30. A relatively dry style. — 7 months ago
Tried this on a recommendation. Thought it was pretty balanced. Not too sweet & didn’t have a bitter bite on the back. Easy drinking! — 8 months ago
Outstanding AlsatianPinot Gris, right at peak, great fruit and acidity, long, lingering finish, just great!! A local west coast mail order outfit periodically offers this wine at around $20, I’ve purchased 2014 (all gone) and last time 2018 (this wine, one more of 6 bottles left)!! Trimbach makes such outstanding Alsatian wines, even at these more modest pricing levels!! — 17 days ago

Superb. Fresh and approachable, plenty of acid. Then the vanilla and orange flower is replaced by candied lemon peel and mango for a long finish — a month ago
Tart and rich. Really enjoyed with cheese fondue. — 7 months ago

Like a good friend that is reliable and steady. Except this friend has aged a bit more than you remember from the last time you’ve seen them. Would like to taste a more recent vintage. — 22 days ago
Pale lemon color. Aromas of orchard fruit, wet slate and white flowers. Flavors of lemon, peach, pineapple, Asian pear, chalk/flint and leafy herbs. A nice note of earthy saline on the long and persistent finish. Vibrant acidity and quite bright. Medium bodied with a mouth coating and slightly creamy texture. Good concentration and intensity. Aged quite well. — a month ago

Opened about 30min prior to service. The 2017 Clos Ste. Hune pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing wjth beguiling notes of the perfectly ripe Comice pear, a mix of stone and tropical fruits, lemon blossom, a touch of petrol and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish lasts forever. This is unbelievably balanced and a fantastic pairing with the toro crudo. This is just at the beginning of what’s sure to be a very long drinking window. Enjoy now through 2057. — 11 hours ago
