Mid crimson in colour. Dusty notes of dried cherries, balsamic notes. Well made with good balance from a very reputable producer. Medium plus bodied - fuller than the average Rosso. Ripe fruit from the excellent 2019 vintage finishing with fine powdery tannins. Overall excellent. I will enjoy the Brunello from Salvioni in many years to come. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour alongside the 2009 vintage. The 2005 “Giulio Ferrari” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is vinous with lovely notes of graham cracker, bruised apple, and spiced peach. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. Lovely Barbaresco, a bit light in color but nice in taste.
Not too heavy but brings a nice flavor of full body.
Not so tart and harsh as the one 2 days agon from Verduno.
The owners of the Vineyard Ca del Baio are 3 sisters, one went to school with Alessandro from Casa Ressia.
Excellent price for this wine.

A blend of Scheurebe and 3 Muscat varieties, 4 months skin contact, fermented on the lees.
Exotic nose with lychee, flowers in bloom, a bit of mango & guava, with some nice funk and brilliant freshness.
Great energy on the palate, bone dry and with nice, chalky minerality under the juicy acidity, a touch of tannins, great purity & flow.

Long and plush finish with beautifully integrated tannins and well balanced acidity. Rich and creamy mouth coating texture. Fantastic structure both powerful and elegant at the same time.
