So fragrant when first popped/poured, but after only a minute or two so much of its promise was gone :( (disgorged 5/21) — 5 years ago
Enjoying this more than I expected. Beautiful golden color. Gorgeous nose of roasted pear, caramel and brioche. Dry on the palate with round full body. — 5 years ago
Clean, very fresh and refreshing. Hint of apples on both nose and palate. Great with raw bar. — 5 years ago
A bit too direct and rocky for me. Definitely a style. It was bracing and the acid high. It did have an interesting nose of terroir — 6 years ago
Tried this at a champagne tasting in San Francisco. Very well done, lots of delicious notes. Pour it in a red wine glass to open it up and soften the bubbles. — 7 years ago
Brut Zero Rosé from Tarlant. Grower Champagne with an even split of Pn and Chard; 5% Meunier too. Zero dosage. Terrific bottle of Grower Champagne. Each glass got better and better. Great fruit and great acidity.l — 5 months ago
Gorgeous. One of Annabelle's picks — a year ago
Great wine from Costco — 3 years ago
A blend of 45% Pinot Meunier and the rest split between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This wine has zero grams of residual sugar and you can’t get a champagne any drier than this one. Nice fruity nose with flavors of stone fruits, lively acidity, crisp yet rich. Lingering finish with intense mineral ending. Let this age, it just gets better. Tasting Sample. — 5 years ago
This is evolving nicely. Tart cherries, rock like flavor, forest, a bit of spice, flowers. Really lingers on the palate. Still has a lot of time in the bottle. — 6 years ago
Really enjoyed the aroma of this one; vacillated between a sweet yeasty smell to almost fungi/cheese smell. Definitely put in white wine glass or could be too bitter. — 7 years ago
Christmas Eve pre-dinner wine (there will be more). Loved it for a lighter evening warm up wine. 🎅 🎄 — 6 months ago
Graciously gifted to Holly and I by Pierre and Mathilde Demets. Popped and enjoyed directly from the bottle, on the streets of Paris, in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary. “Intransigeance” is a fabulous cuvée made from a combination of selected fruit from both “La Forêt” in Gŷe-sur-Seine and “Fins” in Neuville-sur-Seine; 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay. No formal notes due to the setting but I can confidently state that the 2018 vintage is utterly delicious. We laughed and reveled as we took pulls under the Eiffel Tower and walked to lunch through the 7th and 6th. We had a blast. Disgorged July 6, 2023. Only 7306 bottles made. We need more Intransigeance, please @Lyle Fass ! — 7 months ago

The Andre Clouet ‘Silver Brut’ Champagne is an excellent wine that is drinking marvelously at the moment but falls behind some others in the absolutely scintillating Clouet lineup. Sourced from the Clouet family grand cru vineyards in both Bouzy. Aged in neutral oak, this zero dosage Champagne opens with kumquat zest and melon tones woven alongside shades of damp earth on this delicate nose. Fresh and showing good verve, the ‘Siver’ delivers bright citrus rind flavors with lighter wild mushroom and baked apple undertones that follow on the palate. Excellent now, enjoy this lithe effort over the next several years. Drink 2019-2025- 91 — 7 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Nature pours a faint pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of ripe berries: raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and despite the zero dosage, the fruit comes across almost round…but in a really good and balanced way. Damn…I love Drappier! Drink now. — 2 months ago
