Quite deep , copper tinged lemon colour . Fine vigorous perlage. On the nose buttered pastry , chalk dust , red apple , cranberry , hints of lemon peel . On the palate good volume with some light red fruits , red currant and cranberry complementing the , chalk tinged , lemon hints . Briny nose, also yeasty but not toasty, more of an austere yeast. So mineral and saline. Concentrated lemon on the palate, with more exotic citrus zest accents. Really high pitched and exciting. Needs oysters. — 3 years ago

A blend of 45% Pinot Meunier and the rest split between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This wine has zero grams of residual sugar and you can’t get a champagne any drier than this one.
