2020 Prunier-Bonheur Monthelie Red Burgundy — 2 years ago
Very well made — 4 years ago
Want a value, every day drinking burgundy. You could do a lot worse than this. Has that syrup nose that I love in a good Gevrey with a different finish that I like even if not as much as the bigger name villages. Love it. Thank you Brett Taylor — 4 years ago
Oh this is glorious I am gaga over 2021 red burgs. All bangers all the time. Deep aromas of early to mid season cherry, spices and lots of. dried rocks like limestone. Big time limestone. This is ultra transparent. Some fresh pink rose petals as well. Wow. What a palate. Nimble and ultra refined but substantial tannins. Wow this is fantastic. Palate is all early to mid season cherry fruit with silky and furry tannins. So juicy. Needs air but it is all there.
Now after air the nose is an intoxicating perfume of roses and early season cherry. Stunning palate with gorgeous sweet fruit and so linear. 9.3 to 9.4. — 2 years ago

Delicious! — 5 years ago
Great aroma. Spice, wood shavings, richer and denser than the 2024s, more round and generous, but still with energy. This has a broader frame and real depth. Big step up in volume and presence. — 25 days ago
Lovely aromas of cherry, minerals (limestone) cherry flower and some hints of red licorice. Very bright nose and very lifted. Palate is juicy and acid driven with terrific energy and wonderful driving minerality. Slight reductive funk on the nose blows off very quickly. A pretty wine and drinking well now. Very tangy and fresh with pretty tannins that are ripe. Like many 17’s this is gorgeously skinny. — 4 years ago
Gorgeous and subtle nose of deep red cherries and a lipstick like intensity. Lovely deep minerals as well. Very classy. Pure and vivid. Just lovely. 19 is so good. Palate is elegant and refined with lovely sweet fruit and terrific inner mouth aromas. Wonderful elegant mouthfeel. Really tremendous freshness and vitality. Awesome fruit quality here. Really a lovey wine. So drinkable and has so much finesse. And that 19 fruit! Wonderful!
After air this gets so fragrant and pretty. Mid season red cherries, sour cherries, cranberry bog, so aromatic. Sapid and juicy now with structure arriving.
So complete after 4 hours. Wonderfully elegant. What a wine. Picks up a lovely velvety quality. — 4 years ago

Little kiss of wood, sea air, mineral and finesse. Rich but energetic, sappy and very pure. This has that Boussey thing where the wine feels generous without losing its line. Delicious, clean, and seriously drinkable. — 25 days ago
