Really enjoying the generous, sensual, textured nature of this vintage and top producers really nailed it. — 2 years ago

2009. Musty in all the right ways on the nose. Smooth and balanced. — 5 years ago
Enjoyed a single glass at Ambassade de Bourgogne. The 1985 “Les Feusselottes” pours a pale garnet color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of desiccated strawberry, dried res flowers, mushrooms, sous bois, licorice, dried herbs and gentle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin (resolved) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A fully mature Les Feusselottes that is showing its age, but showing well. Drink now. — 7 months ago
A regional 100% Chard sourced mainly from Côte d’Or (the Côte de Beaune and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits), and Mâconnais deemed as Edouard’s house signature and sensible price point. Truly “à la mode” Chard that combines freshness of citrus, lemon and orange, with elegance and subtle aromas of mandarine peel. Barely any of cream, but soft on the mid-range palate with a finish of hazelnut and an amazing dry and clean completion of baked pear layers. — a year ago
Really very nice. Opened 6 hours before service and decanted for 3. Quite deep with great red fruit, bit of earth, medium structure, medium plus acid. Great pairing with some chicken meatballs with soy and ginger. Would have been higher but a smidge of the 14.5% heat comes through on the finish. Still very enjoyable. — 6 months ago

Premier Cru Fourchame
Absolutely marvellous wine
Everything in place.
Mouthfilling with freshness, mineral and lenght.
When a wine gets closer to perfection it is harder to describe it.
My Australian friends will excuse me, but the French still set the standards.
Perhaps if i was drinking more French wines lately i would not get this excited, but this Fourchame reflects very much the vineyard style.
A relatively broad Chablis but very very tasty..and long!! — 2 years ago

This somehow aged into more tannic wine. Still solid though. — 3 months ago
