It didn’t have a strong aroma. But it’s fizzy and good. It didn’t have complex tastes in my opinion, but it was yummy. I like it — 3 years ago
From the lower part of the Lazzarito, a traditionally-produced Barolo from an under-the-radar winemaker. The ‘14 could appreciate 5-10 more years in bottle, but I’m impatient. Big leather and anise, with some herbal notes.... almost a “meaty” wine, but the florals come to dominate after some air. Should be perfect with your rich N. Italia foods. Looking forward to visiting this winery on our next Piemonte trip. — 4 years ago
Fruitiness favoring apricots and peaches with a hint of mineral to keep it interesting. The first scent immediately took me back to sitting outside in a piazza in Italia. This wine would taste even better with a good view. — 4 years ago
Lovely wine We bought this wine in Bellagio, Lake Cuomo. Brought back all the spectacular memories we shared throughout Italia! — 5 months ago
Jermann ‘Blau & Blau’ Rosso 2012: Medium-bodied. Impeccable balance. Nicely integrated tannins with the right level of acidity. The color was bright ruby red and the aromas were red fruit dominate. Tasting notes of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, herbs, earth, oak & smoke. Dry elegant finish. What an outstanding, unique Northern Italian blend of Blaufränkisch (Franconia in Italy or Lemberger in Germany) & Blauburgunder (Pinot Nero in Italy or Pinot Noir in France). Bought this several years ago at an enoteca in Bellaria, Italia due to the attractive pink label and tonight was the night it would be set free & consumed. Long story short, loved every drop; it was funky. It was fun. It was memorable. Highly recommend. Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago
Well, Me and my husband have had the Covid this past week. We are very blessed that our symptoms were mild. But since I did lose my taste and smell I wanted to wait to try something nice to have with spaghetti and meatballs tonight. I did have some wine earlier in the week but it was a go to wine that I was already familiar with. I think I’ve rated this wine previously. It’s very smooth and very fruit forward, a nice one to start out with again. I know that Covid is very serious and I thank all health care workers and first responders for their tireless dedication to their profession. And I pray for the families who have lost loved ones to this virus. — 4 years ago
Jamaica allspice submerged in black cherry, black raisin, African violets, red roses, cooked poppyseed, grilled, wine marinated steak with rosemary garnish. The palate is silky with medium mouthfeel and stealthy tannic hooks are whisked away like burrs and prickles on a satin sock. Sweet Connecticut wrap of tobacco is assisted by a minute mocha and black peppercorn. This took a while to open, surprisingly, but well worth the wait!

E’ il uno di nostro favarito da italia. Crisp e acido abbastanza, mezzo corpo. Ha unpo il gusto amaro di finire. L’abbiamo bevuto con sashimi del tonno e fluke. Molto buono. Da sconto in astor wines. — 4 years ago

Deep ruby in color; black cherries, blackberries, and cassis on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberry jam, cardamom, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Not bad. — a month ago
