Have we no wine? WSET 3 with Merit
Perfect with red sauce pasta. Integrated oak notes, terrific Nebbiolo cherry and anise notes. Day 2: oak is more noticeable, a bit too much for me. — 2 months ago
Perfect after 9 years in bottle. Burgundian dark cherry notes, muted tannins, smooth with no mustiness. I personally still prefer a touch of added cappuccio like my fave Terre Nere. — 4 months ago
A big rich “Barolo Girl” wine, La Morra richness, lots of extraction, and French oak vanilla. If you are looking for lighter brighter traditional Barolo, this may not fit the bill. Very solid wine nonetheless. — 20 days ago
Balanced Super Tuscan, restrained oak, bright Sangiovese in the blend. — 3 months ago
One of my favorite Chenin Blanc’s… — 4 months ago
Surprisingly honeyed with oxidized bruised apples. Perhaps an unusual bottle, just based on the clarity of Terlan’s regular Pinot Bianco bottling… — 4 months ago
Ultra tart. Herbaceous. Blood orange.
I’m an acid freak, and this one is up there. — a month ago
Warm vintage, not waiting any longer… this Produtorri hits the mark. — a month ago
Tough to admit: I like the less expensive Groppolo much better. Acacia and orange flowers, honeysuckle richness, but with the characteristic saline and mineral notes. Perhaps some lies aging or light oak are adding complexity? Very good, but atypical Vermentino. — 3 months ago

Riper dark cherry, more concentrated Langhe, A little baking spice and vanilla, but not off putting. Smooth tannins, lighter acid… could be confused for a Barolo or Barbaresco. Delicious. — 18 days ago
