In Texas we take breaks from red wine in chunks of 6 months. When you're out of practice, this is a great return ticket to Pinotland. Uncomplex, a reminder of the generosity and joy in a 56 degree pour.
Enveloping cherries and flecks of shaved cedar, bright. Fresh, vibrant, collected. — 4 months ago
Rubis clair. Un nez de framboise et autres fruits compotés. Une bouche ronde, légèrement compotée, épicée et agréable. Simple, épicée. — 6 months ago
A rough day. So which wine will never disappoint? Dampt Cote de lechet.
Nose: lovely. A green apple skin mineral perfume. White flowers get this to 94.
Palate: sweet green apple. Salty. Mineral. Utterly delicious. This is not the acid driven hammer that 21’was but it’s in the range of being as good.

Continuing our love affair with Cote Rotie!
Obvious dark fruits, Blackcurrant springs to mind, sticky “jammyness” towards the end of the bottle (no punn intended to the Jamet family!)
In short, a great wine to go with our steak…..the love affair continues 🍷❤️ 😋 — 2 months ago
This fucking app keeps eating my notes. 🤬🤬🤬 As I just said, these Mikulski wines aren’t easy to find, but so worth the search. This apparently is declassified Meursault juice. It’s got toast, oatmeal, crushed stony gravel, and lemon oil. Long and lipsmacking finish. Happy boy! — 5 months ago

This shows a lot of lemon and minerality aromas and flavors, drinking beautifully tonight, but should continue to improve, long finish, very fine 1er Cru Chablis!! — 9 days ago
