The only Cote Rôtie I buy. They are more a farm than a wine maker. Aka fruit trees and some wine. Full of character. Olives, quite tart. Might need another 5 years or so or decant. Iodine, olives, some greens. One needs to know the story were this comes from and what it is to appreciate the wine. Sadly over 100$ its the Cote after all and the farmers need to live too (and at some point buy a new Peugeot!).

Flits with green on the nose. A bit vegetal on the palate. Not much fruit. Not super aromatic. Not a great effort
