Opaque red blue. Vegetal and floral aromas with muddled blueberry. Medium plus bodied, medium plus alcohol. Blueberry emerges more prominently on the palate. Unbelievably smooth, round and well integrated. So complete. Tannins are perfect here, just enough to cut the beef tallow and provide an enjoyable finish. I can only imagine this will get even better, but why wait. This is near the top of my historical scale.

Did not disappoint. Opened quickly, no need for a decanter. Pairs well with Osso Steakhouse. — 2 months ago
Fig and tobacco. — 3 months ago
For my palate, exactly where I would want an aged CdP to be. Still has fruit and grip, but with secondary elements supporting and adding complexity. Really fantastic. — 7 months ago
Light flavors, hints of oak — a month ago
1hr+ decant. Maroon color on the pour but darkish red in the glass. Aged Bordeaux on the nose with cedar and floral elements. Palate reflects the same with dark cherries, tobacco, and anise. Medium plus depth and medium finish. Right in my wheelhouse! — 2 months ago

This is the wine of Jean-Claude Berrouet own estate. He’s former winemaker and Technical Director of Petrus and made 44 vintages of Petrus. Black currants, plum, earth, bay leaf, cedar wood, orange peel and a mineral finish. Fantastic value. — 17 days ago
