Château La Chapelle Canterane

Paul Jaboulet Aîné

La Chapelle Hermitage Syrah 1983

Almost begging for Persian kebab night 😋. Drinking very well. Give it a 20m decant to awaken from hibernation. — 21 days ago

Maison de la Chapelle

Les Batardes Irancy Pinot Noir 2018

Cedar and ripe sweet cherries on the nose. Medium bodied, rich fruit, soft but grippy tannins and nice acidic lift. — 10 days ago

Château La Mission Haut-Brion

La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2000

Outstanding showing for a 2nd wine in a classic vintage. Red fruit and red flowers, cedar and cigar notes led a pure and concentrated beam of blueberry and multiple red fruit notes with some vanilla and black currant. Feminine, elegant. Fine tannins disappeared on long finish. — 8 days ago

Domaine Chavy-Chouet

Sous la Chapelle Volnay Pinot Noir 2014

I found this rather simple and refreshing, which was in no way a bad thing. Exactly what we wanted for dinner. Lovely juicy just ripe cherry fruit, some lovely earthy notes and charming perfume. Its lightness and tangy acidity paired with finely knit yet caressing tannin made for easy and thoroughly thirst quenching bottle. Pour la table! — a month ago

Domaine Ponsot

Chapelle Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2007

Less perfumed than griottes but a meaty glass of goodness. After 13 years barely meeting its plateau. Wonderful wine.

Les Sablons Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache Syrah 2009

This was very harmonious and kind of mellow. Grenache from sandy soils dominates. Cherry, garrigue. Long finish. — a month ago

La Chapelle de Potensac

Delon Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

2nd Growth from this producer. At peak drinking: the eight years burnishes all the old school Bordeaux parts, but for me it’s that cassis fruit core which makes it sing. Oh, & for 20$! — a month ago
