1.5 hour decant (decent fine/cloudy sediment). A fabulous deep ruby red color. On the nose: dark red fruit, leather, sandalwood, floral, and nutmeg. Taste: power and depth with dark cherry, dark chocolate, spice, leather, and an earthy espresso long finish. YUM! — 9 days ago

His amazing, and gets better with age — 8 days ago

Almost 40 years and its still in good shape. Thats a wine that drinks well after 8 to 10 years and might last 50+ in the better vintages. Does not have the complexity of grand cru wines but there is little if anything you can buy in Bordeaux at this QPR. — 6 months ago
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Overrated and overpriced. 1+hr decant, probably needed more. Very hot nose with plums. Massive tannins and hits the palate like a razor blade. Earthy with plums and prunes. Not my style. Medium depth and finish.
Anyone want my last bottle? — 3 days ago
1hr+ decant. Lovely wine. Dark red, maroon color. Dark cherries and cedar on the palate. Well integrated tannins and fruit on the palate. Refined, rustic, and my style! Well made! — a day ago

Stunning bottle - showed really well after 3 hours or so. Maturing, integrated tannin, structured, a nose you wanna swim in… — 7 days ago
