Bright and balanced. Starts off slightly floral then we taste orange peels. Nice tannins at the end. — a day ago

Brown and ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, earth and minerals. On the palate, cherry, oak, vanilla, raspberry and medium to fuller body. Tannins are strong but balanced nicely. Medium to longer finish. — 5 months ago

Fausone Barbaresco Nebbiolo 2016

On the nose the red fruits are a bit shy and overshadowed by the earthy and savory notes of black tea leaf, tobacco, tar, balsamic, and licorice. The flavor is much more balanced with sweet cherry leading the way. Medium body. Lively and delicate on the palate. Mellow dry tannins.
Prinsi is a small Neive based winery. This single cru Riserva is its flagship bottling. 48 months in combination of Slavonia and French oak casks.

Medium bodied. Bing cherries. A little bit of fruit rollup (i.e fruit leather). Light acid. Celebrating my graduation from rocket training! — a month ago

Still good fruit. Lots of secondary notes. Some dried herbs, dark plum, tar. Refined and still all in place — 5 months ago

Santo Stefano Di Neive Barbaresco Nebbiolo 2005

Absolutely gorgeous tonight, with red label stardom, continuing to get better and better in the decanter wafting waves of roses, black cherries, exotic spices and tea leaves. It has immense richness but also so fresh and detailed. There is incredible density yet without weight. An amazing combination of power and elegance. — 6 months ago
