Ripe, sweet cherry, hazelnut, cookie dough, brash oak interrupts the succulent ness of this wine, a big chomping cigar box tannins, with a hint of Alexander the Grape acidity..
Interesting, would like less wood on this.

Thought this was the 2014 and only opened about 20 min before dinner. Needs more time. Still good though! Traditional style. Paired well chicken parmesan and bucatini.
