Black Star Farms ‘Arcturos’ Dry Riesling 2019: Light acidity. Bright fruit. Clean & refreshing taste. Apple. Pear. Apricot. Citrus. Stone. Crisp, off-dry finish. All in all, a beautiful & surprising Riesling from the great state of Michigan. So surprised I had to bring back to my hotel room! Happy Sunday! Cheers🍷 — 10 days ago
Blind Date wine. Definitely effervescent; the screwcap popped off! Pale pink color. Strawberry aromas. High acid, round on the palate when drinking room temp (blind, and didn't know to chill it!!), strawberry flavors and lingering minerals. Thought a rosé of pinot noir and/or from a cold climate with all that acid! — 4 days ago
Had the 2019 vintage last week and loved it so much that I went and bought more. Alas, they were sold out of 2019 and I could only get 2020x. It was still delightful, but not quite as good as the 2019. Perhaps it just needs another year. — 3 days ago
Goes well with cheese. — 3 days ago
Deep black fruits and wonderful mouthfeel. Wish I had more. — 11 days ago
Dry, funky, grassy, citrusy, apples, tart, sea salt, excellent apple finish. Outstanding. — 12 days ago
So much fresh fruit in this one. Not a Pinot to lay down, one to open in the middle of winter and enjoy the flavors of summer in Sonoma.
A bit pricey at $45- maybe an 8.9 considering the cost — 12 days ago
