This flight consisted of the 91, 85, 71 & 59 They were stunning , all so fresh, clean with beautiful fruit drinking much younger than their age. Hard to pick a winner here but the 71 stood out. This flight changed my mind on how great his white Hermitage ages — 15 days ago

@Jan A, just a question — when you talk about it being better in a Day 3, are you using anything to preserve it (Coravin, etc.?), or just “cork back in the bottle and leave it on the counter”, or ??? Just curious, asking only from a personal calibration standpoint!! Thanks in advance!! 🍷🍷

Hi Doug, I drank a couple of glasses on day one, put the corck back on and put it in the fridge at 4 degrees celcius. Had a dinner party at friends on day two (didn't drink any of this wine) and came back to it on day three. Still standing fierce. Just a softer, opened up version of the youngish wine on day one. Very well made and a very good qpr.

Thanks for the feedback @Jan A -a your method is what I used to do, we rarely have much left over, so I usually don’t worry as much about oxidation in the leftover bottle!! 🤔🤷😂🍷
