Consistent and satisfying at $30. A relatively dry style. — 4 months ago
Initial aromatics of lychee and white peach. Initial comment to see if note is accepted. A Grand Cru Riesling from Alsace which is unique because of its soil type which is volcanic rather than sandstone - the latter in the minority. Dry Riesling with a certain spiciness. Deserves to be a Grand Cru. The vineyard was first planted in the 12th Century by the Cistercian Monks hence the name Muenchberg (Mountain of the Monks). — a day ago

Tried this on a recommendation. Thought it was pretty balanced. Not too sweet & didn’t have a bitter bite on the back. Easy drinking! — 4 months ago
Gorgeously honey-colored. Richly honey flavored too. Definitely would buy again. — 2 months ago
2022 vintage. Aromas of lemon and minerals. A well-made light bodied wine with flavors of unripe pear and lemon and crushed gravel takes over at the end. — 3 months ago
Over ripe orchard fruit, some acid, cider notes, very good with bun thit nuong. — 4 months ago

This wine is so good for the $. And always is. The 2023 blend is: Gewürztraminer : 30%
Pinot gris : 24%
Riesling : 19%
Sylvaner : 18%
Pinot blanc : 6%
Muscat blanc à petits grains : 3% The sylvaner is only 18% so it’s interesting it’s identified as a sylvaner blend. Lively, aromatic nose. Peach, pear, quince, citrus on the palate. Lively acidity and great minerality. Every sip I pick up something different. And it’s under $20. Slightly off- dry. Value. — 16 days ago
