Big and powerful Syrah. Make sure you decant this one. Dark blue and black brambly fruit. Black pepper and licorice. Hint of earth and chocolate. Dark purple color and very long finish. If you are a bold Syrah fan, this will satisfy you. Very pleasant! Very consistent producer. — 5 days ago

Nose: charcoal, dark currant/raspberry, slight sweet chemical overtone, eucalyptus. Taste: cooked berry pie, long flavor profile, moderate acid, earthier, moderate softening tannins, pleasant light spicy finish. — 8 days ago
medium reddish purple; black cherry, plum, licorice, baking spices; sappy, dark berry compote; full bodied, fine tannins, 14.5% ABV; aged in 55% new French oak , small amount in concrete egg, inaugural vintage from the vineyard; project of Michael Browne of Kosta Browne, style typical of Russian River Valley and Kosta Browne, bigger and darker than the Treehouse bottling — 7 days ago
Currant and perfume on the nose with some vanilla and subtle saline minerality. Full bodied dark fruits, velvet on the tongue, great mouthfeel. Tight, moderately tannic, then a smooth prolonged finish.
