Muthafucka
1/3 century anniversary wine
Nose is gods apricot perfume. An echo of botrytus. Like apricot flower.
Palate is apricot silk. Liquid pleasure. Sick. Perfect balance. Texture is just enough to announce itself. Not gloopy. Such perfect acidic balance.
A last whiff on earth candidate. If you have money you need to own this. You need to own a lot of this. It’s perfect.

Cuvee 2020 | 60 welschriesling 40 chardonnay, 50% stainless steel, 50% barriques, 131,7 rest sugar g/l. Botrytis smell, gold colour, extremely balance. Best sold wine from Alois Kracher and that is easy to understand. Awesome P/Q ratio. Perfect with blue cheese. — 7 months ago
Medium golden lemon colour . Honeysuckle , baked apple , white flowers , elegant and refined . On the palate this is quite rich , but with balanced acidity and lots of ripe apple , pear , honey notes . Very long and detailed , precise. Young but drinking well, probably will improve though over the next 5-10 years and last a further 10. — 9 months ago
The grand finale! Dad brought this. I tasted apricot and agave. Tasting notes were marmalade and barley sugar. I can’t say I could pin “barley sugar” but I am stashing that descriptor for future tastings 🤪 — 3 years ago
