Lovely Riesling. Easy drinking, great acidity, ripe fruit: apple, pear, some pineapple, intense long finish. — 8 years ago
Absolutely delightful with a cheese and dessert. Crispy caramel & honey. — 9 years ago
Vintage 2006 - Top of luck, but so difficult to describe this perfection. Heavenly sweetness totally in balance because it also has acidity. Some apricot, some butter, creamy. Just awesome. Festive bottle. Combined with green salad and quail mousse. #riesling #rieslingforever #beerenauslese — 9 years ago
Sugary sweet notes of strawberry and raspberry jam. Lightly acidic, tart finish that keeps it from being too cloying. Fantastic dessert wine. — 6 months ago

Nose is gods apricot perfume. An echo of botrytus. Like apricot flower.
Palate is apricot silk. Liquid pleasure. Sick. Perfect balance. Texture is just enough to announce itself. Not gloopy. Such perfect acidic balance.
A last whiff on earth candidate. If you have money you need to own this. You need to own a lot of this. It’s perfect.

Plenty of botrytis to make things interesting. Would blind guess sauternes all day long. — 9 years ago
Medium lemon , touches of gold , quite young looking . Really aromatic with candied peel , marzipan , white flowers , baked apple, orange peel . On the palate this is quite sweet and rich , but with high balanced acidity . Candied peel , baked apple , barley sugar , camomile . Quite intensely sweet finish , but with good underlying bracing acidity . Lightness of touch with great intensity . Still pretty young and sweet . The grand finale! Dad brought this. I tasted apricot and agave. Tasting notes were marmalade and barley sugar. I can’t say I could pin “barley sugar” but I am stashing that descriptor for future tastings 🤪 — 3 years ago
