Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with citrus and floral notes. On the palate fresh fruit flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, apple and melon with lemon citrus wrapped in lively acidity, medium length ending with fruit and lemon citrus texture. — 12 days ago

Barton & Guestier

Bordeaux Merlot 1990

Dazzling aroma on this 32 year old #bordeaux - stewed plums with warming spices, caramel, honeyed almonds, dried figs. Medium-light body on palate, primary fruit has faded almost completely; lots of acidity left and tannins are ghostly soft. This bottle proves a well-stored regular Bordeaux from a reputable online auction site can still deliver plenty of enjoyment from a good vintage. — 8 days ago

Trilogy Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

Alright alright alright…back out with Rib at or favorite spot. Trying out a new red, and on first blush it’s a winner. Soft subtle aromas of Napa, with just as soft velvety smooth onset. As the old heartthrob for every black woman (Billy D) would say…”Don’t let the smooth taste fool you”. Best way to describe it in the dewars words…Lucious like my wifeys lips. — a month ago

Château Langoa Barton

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

A blend of 54% Cab Sauv, 38% Merlot & 8% Cab Franc, aged in 60% new oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, floral and sweet notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currents and cacao with notes of violets, oak and spice. Fine gritty tannins, long finish ending with fruit, floral and mineral spice. Tasting well! — 2 days ago

Tenuta Rapitalà

Viviri Grillo 2020

Nice art in that label. It’s a lovely golden-green in the glass. Smells like honey, springs in the woods, and lime zest. Flavors are a hint musky-herbal, acidic, and just a hint of the honey-beeswax that is on the nose. Lot’s of tongue smacks. This is a lovely little gem of a white. Perfect for when you want to go a bit fancy beside the pool. — 11 days ago
