Pop and pour, but notes from 2 hrs open. This taste comes from the last sip in the btl...what a hit tonight. On the nose: ripe canteloupe, salt, soft savory herbs, amazing intensity...my wife offered to give me what was left in my glass, but said she'd take it if I didn't want it... Fantastic acidity, but melon, melon rind, perfect density. Better than the '12 or '13? Reminds me a touch of the '11, which was more savory. Yum. — 7 days ago
Developing nicely after my last bottle 2 years ago. Golden Delicious apple fruit, hint of peach, and subtle petrolly minerality. Dry and flavorful, it’s got a pronounced but not unpleasant bitter component that kicks in midway through the palate. Decent acids. — 14 days ago
More Meunier magic from Moussé. Tasted blind, you probably would not peg this as an entry level bottle. Pure gold with attractive perlage. Straight chalk and minerality on the nose immediately. Orchard fruit and black cherries along with lime slices. A nice touch of soil makes this absolutely sing.
Perpetual reserve. Half of the blend is from a reserve that goes back to 2003 giving it charm and character. 80% Meunier/20% Pinot Noir with a low dosage of 3.5 g/l from Cuisles. Organic and natural methods used. Malolactic fermentation is carried out.
Very pure and clean even with the earth notes. Elegant and sexy on the tongue. Racy acidity, energy, and such beautiful tension. More chalk and orchard fruits on the palate with a little yeast. Still incredibly young but it feels mature and thoughtful. Let this sit and really meditate over it. Beautiful. — a month ago
Lobster shell in roe with Sherry sweetness and hawthorn flower and hibiscus aromas aswim in brewer’s yeast. Phenomenally complex. White and bing cherries with underripe apricot and strawberry, lime and lime again, lemon pith and oil, chalky lemon juices, and scallop shell. Flavors off the chart with the biodynamic touch!

Dark rubi robe, nose of spices, crushed roses and dark cherries. Medium bodied, very fresh, balanced and complex but also bold structure, this is a joy of a wine done in the classical way. An enfant now but getting closer to drinking window. Give it 3 more years in bottle. It will sing. Enthusiastically recommended. — 11 days ago
Very dark rubi robe followed by asian spices, dark cherries and a touch of minerality. Medium bodied, long, balanced with its rustic side buried beneath its fruit. Top notch and shows no sign of getting older. Classic Savigny for those who like the style. We love it ! — 16 days ago
