Mont de Milieu Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2013

Lucky to get some bottles direct from the source. Perfect condition. Absolutely stunning after 15 min of air. The age gave it more of a souther Burgundian texture but with all those oyster shell minerality you love about Chablis. Gave a pour to Jonah at GreekMans, and was watching his face react to a looooong 90 second finish that rocks your skull. Wow. — 3 days ago

Au Pied du Mont Chauve

Clos des Fiètres Corton Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2013

1 hour decant. A marvelous dark ruby red color. On the nose: beautiful notes of spiced cherries, vanilla, forest floor, charcuterie, spearment. Taste: smooth, juicy, elegant wine with red tart berries, cedar, orange peel, minerals, and a smokey tea dry finish. YUM! — a month ago

Man I love this stuff! Great fruit well balanced by acidity, combined with a taste of the region, terrior if you will. Stood up to and paired nicely with salmon for dinner. — 6 days ago

Heretat Mont-Rubi

Durona Penedés Sumoll Blend 2015

Medium plus body, acidity, and tannin. Black cherry, black licorice, sarsaparilla, crushed gravel. Structure. Drinking well at seven years. Should hold this peak for a while but unlikely to get better. — 17 days ago
