While being a HUGE wine - making you want to brush your teeth after a glass!!! - this wine is remarkably silky and smooth with vanilla, black cherries, and well integrated tannins. An absolutely wonderful experience today, but clearly still on the upswing of its maturity curve. — 9 days ago
Color of saturated purple. Nose of ample acidity plus dark fruits, black berries, strawberries, vanilla, and strength of alcohol. Taste follows the nose with addition of good tannins, bitter notes, and sweet dark fruits. Aftertaste shows some off-balanced bitterness. Ok. — 13 days ago
Organic grapes! Not too fancy looking label. Dark as blood. Smells like fresh cut wood, a musty library and deep red-purple plum sauce. Flavors are balanced out with a bittersweet tannic edge to match the berry and lighter roast coffee flavors. Also has a fresh chocolate mint leaves meets fennel fronds thing in there. Easy drinking, but dense enough to drink with aged cheddar cheeses. This is a great deal, and example of the type of blend I love. And the icing on the carrot cake is the organic grapes. — 7 days ago

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Medium plus in body and elegant, with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black fruits with cedar, licorice, vanilla, spices, peppercorn, red chili pepper, tobacco leaf, dark chocolates, herbs and earth.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Still young, but already enjoyable.
This 4 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Nicely balanced with a soft and spicy mouthfeel, and good by itself as a sipping wine.
14.3% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

This is actually the 2018 Modus Operandi Caldwell Vineyard Syrah. Color is deep purple with scents of bacon fat, plum sauce, cigar box, and maybe camphor. After opening up a bit, I get cardamom and vanilla, as well. Nose is a little funky, but not in a bad way. Bold, medium to full-bodied wine. Medium to high acidity. Medium level of tannins. This was the best wine in a blind tasting of Syrahs with DuMol and Kimsey. Both my wife and I ranked it #1. The finish was significantly longer and more pleasant than the others. — 8 days ago
Special entry for “wine” # 4000! This is the one-of-a-kind Roseate bottling of second-use cherry and blackberry ferment with distinct grapefruit, rhubarb and loads of botanicals. A beer-cider hybrid of sorts @Delectable — a day ago
Nose has tangerine peel, raspberries, roses and under-ripe nectarine.
Palate has candied orange, strawberry, orange pith/zest, mild acidity and lingering mineral notes to the medium finish.
Blind, this is a Provence rose to me; nice effort in the cellar here. A steal of a deal when we got this for ~$14.
2018 Blend: 38.5% Grenache, 30.5% Grenache Blanc, 12.5% Carignane, 10% Cinsault, 6% Mourvedre, 2% Picpoul & 0.5% Vermentino — 14 days ago

Beautiful color, full bodied, notes of cinnamon and dark fruit. I had my boss buy me a few bottles of wine from this producer in New Orleans when she was there and this is my last one. If you’re ever in New Orleans you should try their wine! Evidently BKK stands for the producer’s childrens names. — 16 days ago
