Purple!
This is extremely youthful. Ink, mint, resin, blackberries, black pepper and kalamata olives.
Lots of tannines, which are perfectly ripe and soft, Elegant and powerful, this is so promising, but needs at least three more years in the dungeon. Or 24hr in the decanter.
Truly beautiful, pure and graceful. — 9 days ago
Had this at Bern’s Steak house. Often referred to as “Baby Grange,” ‘16: blend of 51% Cab Sauv & 49% Shiraz, aged 12 months in American oak, partly in previous-vintage Grange casks. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits, sweet and complex spice. On palate juicy blackberry flavors with notes of tobacco, cacao and toasty spices. Well balanced with acidity, fine ripe tannins, long finish ending with smoky spice, fruit & well integrated with oak, went well with my 19oz Strip Steak! — 17 days ago
Deep dark Ruby in colour - almost black. Ripe dark plum flesh and skins on nose and palate - sweet fruit and chocolate. A mouthful of flavour if not a bit simple. McLaren Vale does these big rich Shirazes well. A crowd pleaser with excellent QPR - a gift from my brother in law. — 17 days ago
This is drinking so well now. Lovely bouquet, smooth and round with a long long aftertaste. Dense, powerful and lively, with many years ahead of it. — 13 days ago
A big thank you to Fourth Wave Wines for this sample of the 2021 Cowpunk Pet Nat Chardonnay.
It falls in the category of a natural wine. Plus it’s also organic and vegan friendly with no added preservatives. It’s from a single site and is small batch with a $30 price tag.
It looks like cloudy apple juice in the glass and pretty much smells like Granny Smith apples 🍏 too - super crisp and enticing. Alongside the juicy apples there’s some pretty florals and zesty citrus peel. Dry and delicious. Tastes great and love the packaging.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! — 9 days ago

Pure and powerful but completely resolved. There’s a core of iron tinged red meat and dark blue fruit but hints of black tea, white pepper and spice. As much Burg as Côté-Rotie at this point, completely ready to go. — 3 days ago
