Two Hands

Angels' Share McLaren Vale Shiraz 2013

This is great for $22. I may be a little conservative with a 92. 92.4 then. #Delectable, can you add another decimal place?
Big and jammy. Wish there was just a little more structure to it to get to the WS 93.

Paul, I have a soft spot for McClarn Vale . Years ago I was birdwatching there. We were staying at a local hotel and by the pool. A large family was having a BBQ. They invited us over. We had a great time and drank a lot of local wine . I could live there.hugh

Sounds like an awesome trip @Hugh O'Riordan!! Australia is definitely on my bucket list. I’m a big fan of Two Hands as well as a couple other Aussie producers I’d like to visit; Mollydooker, Penfolds... thanks for the note. Have a great weekend! I look forward to your reviews as always!

d'Arry's Original McLaren Vale Shiraz Grenache 2015

Wonderful red berry nose with a hint of barnyard. Mild tannins, with long and smooth finish. A little tart, but rich and creamy dark berries. It's yummy this! — 4 days ago

The Footbolt Old Vine Shiraz 2016

D’Arenberg’s are solid. This is a straightforward Shiraz, black fruit and plums with that unmistakable Aussie style. This seems a little lighter that previous vintages have been. — 23 days ago

Frost Dodger Eden Valley Shiraz 2018

Appassimento dry racked - my first of this style. Rich and ripe, thick tannin but far from overdone, lovely savoury black olive, mild spice, nice grip and enough acidity to keep it in balance. Keeps me coming back for more. — 17 days ago
