Windsor Vineyards

Los Carneros Pinot Noir 1986

Found this bottle hiding on a shelf at The Artistry San Pedro. The owners were kind enough to allow me to open and decant it this evening.
Delightfully surprised that the porty nose blew off to reveal dried herby cran cherry rosemary notes with amarone style flavors and smoked oakiness on the palate.

Cuvaison

Estate Grown Carneros Pinot Noir 2017

Cuvaison Estate Grown Pinot Noir 2017: Medium-bodied. Elegant soft tannins. Nice acidity. Cranberry. Plum. Boysenberry. Blackberry. Dried herbs. Spice. Soft oak. Medium-long finish. All in all, this wine was a vibrant, beautiful & balanced Los Carneros Pinot with fantastic layers of fruit flavors. A great representation of this area and the perfect “welcome home” wine after weeks of not drinking any Californian Pinot Noirs. Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 17 days ago

Comtes de Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne Chardonnay 1999

Taken to Selby's in Redwood City. Young and fresh with great energy. Notes of citrus, wet stone and some red fruit. Great silky mousse texture. In a perfect spot although still in a youthful stage. — 13 days ago

Anniversary celebration in Jamaica. Does not get better than this as I’m with my soulmate ♥️

Day 2 and this picked up some urgency and a touch more character. Increased the score as a result.

Elway's Reserve Carneros Chardonnay 2019

This is a tasty oaky Chardonnay from Carneros.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with oak, vanilla, spices, yellow apples, herbs and black pepper.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Good right out of the bottle and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$37.

This is becoming our House chard @ $15/btl from Costco. Just enough oak to make it interesting not obnoxious - sexy toasted coconut, candied pineapple and golden apple on the nose. lush mid palate - big boned yet elegant. Balanced & delicious — 19 days ago

Ramey Wine Cellars

Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay 2019

Gorgeous chard, like all Ramey. I will say I think some older vintages have more weight and depth to them but this is still great. Mostly butterscotch. But some lemon curd, pineapple, too. Just enough oaky tannins and vanilla to remind you it was in a barrel. Seemed ready to drink. — 21 days ago
