More citrus, lemon oil, flint. Still a very fine mousse but not quite at the same level as the 12 — a month ago
Interesting champagne, quite reductive but in a good way. Flinty and not too acidic quite round for a Brut Natural — a month ago
Very earthy, mushrooms, some dried flowers and fruit. Was recommended by the producer to let it age for at least 4 more years… we were flying back from Paris with a 5 hour layover in DFW where it was 96F… wasn’t risking it so we opened it before coming home. Fun wine was better on day 2 opened up a bit more. — 19 days ago
And the 14 to finish off the vertical, couldn’t think of a better way to finish off our tour of Champagne Taittinger. Quite young compared to the 12 and 13. More aggressive mousse but lots of white pepper and biscuits. Lemon oil as well. — a month ago
