Living clove and dried allspice meet mint and sweet tobacco. Grill kebabs, with ginger and ginseng wafting. Spicy plum and juicy raspberry. Rich plum palate resonates with rhubarb and light cedar, blue spruce and tart cherry. Structured and layered, with enticing spicing. Red apple peel, tart blueberry and roobios cap the experience.

perfumed smell, powerful wine. — a month ago
Slightly brownish ruby colored. Decanted 45 min. Red fruit on the nose. Really smooth structure. Tannins supple. Black fruit, black cherry mostly with some red fruit as well. Bit of red licorice, pencil lead, earthy, tobacco. Really really enjoyed this one. Update: wine kept getting better in time, love this wine! — 12 days ago
For a cheap wine, this was great. Ended up paying $6.30 at total wine. Tons of pear and citrus, but was somewhat thin. overall for a cheap wine It had good complexity and no off flavors. Cannot complain. Had it on its own but would totally buy this as a great cooking wine in the future. — a month ago
Dark cherries, ripe blueberries, herbs, musk, hint of sandalwood. Beautiful concentration and purity of fruit on the palate unfurling with ripe strawberry compote and some herbs. Long finish. Great stuff as usual - punching well above weight if only slightly new world in style given the weight today. — 21 days ago
Medium lemon colour . Fine persistent perlage . Quite exuberante, touch of candied orange and lemon peel , brown bread , roasted almonds , touch of honey . Quite rich but also vinous in the mouth . More strict and mineral after a while , lemon and oyster shell . Long and complex . Showing well now , but can last perhaps improve. In an excellent spot, now and for 5 to 7 years . — 21 days ago
