Rita brought back from Santiago. Decanted it. Super full body. A real steak slayer — 4 years ago
Really nice wine
— 5 years ago
Juicy, lively black and purple fruit; sappy blackberry, black currant and mint. Pungent, wafting fruit, musty with a touch of earth. Sweet and extracted (but not overboard) on the palate. Finishes with crushed stone, granite and bitter herbs. Only medium acid, but really packed with fruit and minerals that provide an energetic presence. Savory lingering finish. I think it will age nicely. Underrated (way) on delectable in my opinion. — 5 years ago
Cheers to parallel parking..... and a great bottle of purple angel.

Pale gold hue. Aromas of honey, orange, peach, tangerine. Plus body and plus acidity. Relatively short finish, but an intriguing aftertaste. Solid dessert wine. — 2 years ago
Nice versatile red. — 4 years ago
A nose of blackberry hand pie -
Dark berry, slate, saline, cherry stone, underlined coffee tones, tamarindo, swisher sweet tabaco, and crazy sour patch kid acidity,
Such a crazy wine - so good!

From one of the leading lights of the Chilean counter movement of wine, Pedro Parra, a doctor of terroir, soil and a very talented and well respected winemaker.
The Imaginador Cinsault is sourced from granitic soils in the region of Itata, dry farmed of course. Partially whole clusters, light extraction and matured in a mix of old oak and concrete for 12 months.
It is definetely not a shy wine, near provacative in its profile yet with respect and the fundamentals intact. Ripe but fresh strawberries, bramble, red currants with a very prominent savouriness of crushed stones, black pepper and an almost overwhelmingly smoked meatiness. Palate is light and fresh, directed by its acidity, a slight, smooth grip from the tannins, good fruit intensity but falls a wee short on the final. Quenchanble but serious and a fun drinker. — 5 years ago

Big, bold wine. Smoke, dark fruit, earth, and spices. Wine is crunchy and packs a punch. I like it. — 5 years ago
Nice finish. Will try again. — 5 years ago
Layers of cacao on this nose,
Garden veg, fresh and bountiful, green pepper, tomato stalk, vanillin, medium oak, Solid acidity. This is a classically well rounded Cab - though one that has a heck of a lot of finesse and beats most of our domestic cabs at the price point. — 5 years ago

Precision wine. Pure and focused. Fine grained, polished tannins kept the wine centered on the palate and carried the dark red fruit infused flavors to a soft landing on a lingering finish. — 6 months ago
