Juicy, lively black and purple fruit; sappy blackberry, black currant and mint. Pungent, wafting fruit, musty with a touch of earth. Sweet and extracted (but not overboard) on the palate. Finishes with crushed stone, granite and bitter herbs. Only medium acid, but really packed with fruit and minerals that provide an energetic presence. Savory lingering finish. I think it will age nicely. Underrated (way) on delectable in my opinion. — 5 years ago

From one of the leading lights of the Chilean counter movement of wine, Pedro Parra, a doctor of terroir, soil and a very talented and well respected winemaker. 
The Imaginador Cinsault is sourced from granitic soils in the region of Itata, dry farmed of course. Partially whole clusters, light extraction and matured in a mix of old oak and concrete for 12 months.
It is definetely not a shy wine, near provacative in its profile yet with respect and the fundamentals intact. Ripe but fresh strawberries, bramble, red currants with a very prominent savouriness of crushed stones, black pepper and an almost overwhelmingly smoked meatiness. Palate is light and fresh, directed by its acidity, a slight, smooth grip from the tannins, good fruit intensity but falls a wee short on the final. Quenchanble but serious and a fun drinker. — 5 years ago
