Montes Alpha Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Layers of cacao on this nose,

Garden veg, fresh and bountiful, green pepper, tomato stalk, vanillin, medium oak, Solid acidity. This is a classically well rounded Cab - though one that has a heck of a lot of finesse and beats most of our domestic cabs at the price point.

Pretty good. No oaking. mostly fruit forward.

Odd on the nose... better on the tongue... my guess is that’s it’s young....

Simple but has lots of flavor. Chalky. Well rounded. Straight forward Cabernet.

Good but not complex.

A really exciting wine with rich aroma: tobacco, leather, ripe black fruits, fig, dark chocolate and vanilla. Palate is harmonic with nice tannins and acids and a long pleasant stay. Highly recommended!
