Thought this might be past it’s peak, but it was great! — 7 days ago
Blackberries, blueberries, with a little raspberries and cranberries mixed in. This is a blend of Rhône and Bordeaux grapes, with the Rhône seeming to me to be dominant, but tempered. The nose has some herbs and a hint of tobacco leaf. Minerality is a mix of stones and earth with a bit of dry dust. The acidity seemed nicely balanced, and tannins low to moderate. I would have liked a little more of the latter. But it was a good price for the quality. — 25 days ago
Big bold and as the name suggests, almost purple in the glass. Still young but very enjoyable with rich fruit flavours and some delicate fragrance provided by the small amount of petit Verdot. Tannins are present but not too drying or intrusive, will be nice to see how this wine develops. — 16 days ago
Drinking this on World Carmenere Day. Found it smooth, hints of strawberry. Would buy again. — 11 days ago
Cellar Rat annual sale. $5.99 and worth every penny! Cab blend but very good. — 14 days ago
2014 vintage, opened on 2nd December 2019. Strong full bodied. Moldy, ripe berries, smooth palate. Zest of tangy. Acidity is much well tolerated. Long finish. — 3 days ago
After a day it turned into a rich full dark fruit Syrah with earthy notes. Age would improve the firm tannins. — 2 days ago

Smells of escargot in shallots.
This is one of those wines you should always have on the shelf, when you need a guaranteed well made Syrah.
Green pepper, smoke, fat, bright acidic fruit, dried plums, well integrated tannins with that acidity, tabac, and cocoa bring up the rear, and linger on. — 12 days ago
