Barons de Rothschild (Lafite)

Los Vascos Estate Grown Colchagua Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Damn good straight open. Quite fruity for a cab, but not "sweet" by any means. Spices open nicely over the next few days recorked in the fridge. Lucky blind buy! Imported by Taub Family Selections. — 23 days ago

Viña El Huique

Parróne Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Pretty boring label. It’s not bad, just very plain. Deep color. Purple with a dark center. Smells nice. Earthy, herbal stuff in the mix with the very berry. Slightest hint of petrichor (aka the smell of rain). Flavors are nice. Rich. Thick. Plenty of fruit. Dry. Zingy. More wet stones and some earth. This is a nice blend. It’s beefy and would really work with red meats off the grill. — 23 days ago

Montes

Montes Alpha M Santa Cruz Apalta Single Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2016

There's a cute hint of red berries in the coffee and blackberry scent.

Silky tannins and well balanced on the palate.
