It was a pity that the nose had an odd and unforgettable rubbery smell that I had hoped to go away after a long decant, but it was quite persistent. Otherwise this would be excellent. Taste of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, cinnamon, dark spices, and cured meat. Round and lightly candied palate with excellent depth. Powdery tannins.
For 2013, this Bordeaux blend was predominantly Cab with 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Syrah. Hope to have the opportunity to taste it again.
