Juicy and lean but also nimble and powerful. A lot going on here. Terrific intensity and purity. Man this is concentrated and deep. Amazing palate presence. Insane! Day 2 notes. Mineral and tropical nose. Sea salt and an airiness. So elegant. Juicy palate with razor sharp acidity and a wonderful opulence in the mid palate. Awesome purely. Like a Riesling drop (riffing off of gum drop.) Long. Just wonderful. Flavors of pink grapefruit, peach and apricot. So clear. — 3 months ago

If you don’t love this wine you need to have your head examined.

Utterly magnificent.

Nose: perfect apricots. As this opens magnificent dense complexity. Mesmerizing. Met hints of dried apricots take this to another level. Almost like aged piesporter goldtropfchen. Like a sexy nasal caress. A hint of sluttiness. But just a hint. Damask. More elegant dense peach as it opens.

Palate: apricots. Peach. Powerfully mineral. Utterly delicious. Almost savory. Unreal. So f….ing good.

Prototypical rheinhessen Riesling. Tyson vs Ali. This is Tyson. Tyson in ip man.

VERY Cherry, the nose is also floral, slightly resinous. It has that lovely damp tree bark thing going on. Autumn on display.
Even after 1/2 hr. Out, it’s quite acidic up front( disclaimer: mouth has been up/down post Covid) lovely minerals and soil.
Worth further investigation. I might hold a couple years, but pleasure is now.
