@Dawn E. Nailed the notes on this wine/vintage. Impressed, girlfriend. But we’ll take a hard right turn on the rating. We were really impressed with how it presented. Less limestone, more citrusy and moderately sweet. In some ways, similar to the Edge Hill. A lovely gift from @Mike R 🩷 — 13 days ago
2017. Picked up a couple of Zinfandel for a pasta and meatballs lunch. This wine was drinking really well. I think the large percentage of Petite Sirah kept it from being overblown and made it more interesting. — 13 days ago
This Chablis is great value and might even be a bit young. And fortunately holds time well. I have the 2008 in 1.5L . Magic still. Love this juice from Fevre. And the Les Clos is off the chain great. And Bougros also great.
Thanks for the insights Gary, actually this is my first bottle of Fevre. Having multiple vintages of recent Clos, Bourgeos, etc. I read here on Delectable recently that these wines could be opened relatively young. So this first sample bottle confirmed the quality and confirmed that there is also absolutely no hurry in opening these. I'll probably keep buying these giving the price points compared to Raveneau etc.
