One of Napoleon's favorites and also one of mine. Fully complemented my dessert but didn't add overwhelming sweetness 😊 — a month ago

Wow. A truly wonderful delicious Bordeaux blend from South Africa -no less. My first from this country. 2003 vintage still bringing it. Near perfect Harmony with a lush delicious mouth feel with a long finish. — 5 days ago
Typical nose of an Art Series Chardonnay with that dried pear character. On the medium weight palate a nice combination of ripe grapefruit and under ripe yellow peach. Medium minus acid. One can’t help but love this Chardonnay. A wonderful terroir, the Gin Gin clone, great winemaking, and an excellent vintage - ticks all the boxes. At its peak but enough acid for a few more years if you wish. That was my last bottle of the 2011. — a month ago

Mid crimson in colour. Lovely Cabernet aromas with a trace of blue fruits and a hint of violets. Very balanced and harmonious on the palate. Elegant. Plenty of flavour intensity and only 12.5% ABV. Tannins are fine but persistent. So balanced almost nothing stands out - the characteristics of a lot of great wines. Will cruise on to its 20th birthday and beyond. At my Chardonnay Challenge of 6 wines with very close scores the Heytesbury finished 6th. I still gave it 95 points and a Gold Medal. HH said “powerful grapefruit and citrus - Gingin/Mendoza clones and 97 points “. A semi regular annual purchase for me. — 2 months ago

8000th wine on here and it’s a doozy! Beautiful raspberry and blueberry fruit, exotic barrel notes, integrated perfectly. White pepper. Stems. Umami. Super exotic. Top notch barrels. Lighter than expected. Best domestic syrah ever? Kinda… thanks for tuning in! 8000 now and more to go. Maybe not Hahahha — 19 days ago
