There’s village and then there’s village. Gibourg made fabulous 2012’s and at age 12, the Vosne village is showing superbly, with seamless layers of fruit, mineral and spice, with the concentration of the vintage and the elegance and finesse of the site and winemaking yielding the perfect combination. In a great spot. — 19 days ago
In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! Tasting well now! — a month ago

Pnp beauty, completely open and giving wafting a distinctive Roumier raspberry and rose petal laced whole cluster perfume with a seductive and seamless palate with fine grained tannins and a long mineral inflicted finish. So much more accessible than 21’s right now which are far more closed and reductive. Last glass a couple hours open was just perfect Burgundy. Village at its finest. — 2 months ago
Carter White
A little less concentrated than some of the other Kumeu River wines, but still lively and has that same beautiful lemon cream. — 18 days ago
