Elegant and balanced, mostly merlot with a dollop of cab franc. Crazy good at this price point. Enthusiastically recommended !

This is my 3 visit of this Bordeaux and it seems that the 2011 vintage starts to show its elegant characteristics. I have only recently realized that 2011 is a lovely vintage hiding in the shadow of 2009 and 2010, it is most probably going to be better than 2001 and 2008 which I love. This blend has a lovely deep red color, a fancy nose with cassis, black current, cherries, soil , coffee and chocolate, medium to full body, with generous tannins and good acidity, a smooth lightly dry finish. My score 87, drink to 2021

Mulberry, blackcurrant, tobacco, light and savoury with a distinct minerality and chalky feel. Quite pure and herbeceous. Quite grippy tannin with slight bitter aftertaste. Overall it is quite drying
