Very dense and black in colour. These wines always remind me of Fruit and Nut milk chocolate. The colour makes you think full bodied but it’s actually light to medium bodied. A luscious mouth filling palate with the savoury milk chocolate together with notes of raisin and date. Supple yet persistent tannins. Reminiscent of a Priorat Garnacha in some respects. — 3 months ago

I don’t typically like sweeter entries but this one worked. — 2 months ago
Fine bubbles, bright and juicy with a dry finish. Yummy notes of cherry — 3 months ago
Fruit sourced from three young, cool vineyards, Arborina and Gattera in La Morra and Castelletto in Monforte d'Alba, Ruby red with a bouquet of dark fruit, spices, leather and licorice. On the palate flavors of sour black cherry and plum with notes of pepper, smoky tobacco, vanilla and oak. Long finish, nice balance with fine drying tannins, savory edges, ending with earthy mineral notes. Good now! — 3 months ago
Wow. Still so youthful! Excellent structure to this wine. — a month ago

This is the La Casuccia CdA which wasn’t in the Delectable lineup - my third favorite of the CdA dinner - see the Montebuoni and Bellavista notes. Note that we also tasted the ‘07 La Casuccia but didn’t love it - actually seemed to have some funk to it — 3 months ago

See previous Note. Old plummie, red cherry notes. Barb said dusty and pine needles. A cooler vintage. I said red cherries and freshly tilled loam. As Galloni said “In 2010 Ama did not bottle their single vineyard selections. All the best fruit went here.” Tasting more the quality of a Brunello than a Chianti Classico. No. 6 in Wine Spectators Top 100 for 2015. — 17 days ago
