What a wonderful wine. Nose: lemon & ginger scone. Palate: lemon, tangerine, lemon pound cake, powdered sugar, papaya, mango pit. Happy 11 years! #thewinewasgood — 3 months ago
A rich Cabernet. — 5 months ago
Medicinal nose, with hints rose petal, balsamic, fresh plum, and blackberry on a medium body. The palate is medium bodied, almost lighter, with the age not really showing, but a zippy acidity, with sandpaper dry tannins, but light sandpaper. — 2 months ago

On the nose, this is cherry and blueberry... On the palate the cherry is concentrated... The blueberry is also there... Savory, fatty... The tanning here is medium and chewy... The bright, fruity finish is just medium but the tannin lingers long... I quite like this tannin effect here. I paired this with crackers and an aged Gouda, but really I think this could have paired with a variety of foods. Decent acidity to hold its own against a variety of foods as long as they're kept simple. — 5 months ago
Good QPR. Probably better with a few years behind it, but very pleasant.. — 2 months ago
Brief notes. Showed better than the 2013 vintage we had in December 2021. Quite rich, sweet and fruit driven as well as spicy notes. Tasting more new world in this warm vintage. A good wine without being great. Have the last one in a couple of years ie 2026. — 4 months ago
The 2021 Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne is a fabulous, explosive wine. Sumptuous dark cherry, ripe plum, mocha, licorice and new leather are all dialed up to the maximum. This racy, deep Barbera is tremendous. For its quality-to-price ratio, the Alba Tre Vigne might be the wine of the year at Vietti. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, February 2024) — 5 months ago

100% Cortese grapes. Bright straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of golden delicious apple, lemon/lime, white flowers, hay and pineapple. A distinct steely (somewhat bitter) minerality on the medium-short finish. Soft textured and fresh with crisp, well balanced acidity. Refreshing. — a month ago
