Nice value for the easy drinking 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon & 70% Sangiovese blend, two-thirds of wine aged 12 months in French oak. Deep Ruby with fresh red berry aromas and some herb spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum, cacao and licorice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, good balance with acidity, ending with tobacco and oak on the finish. — a month ago

Now there’s a bottle where everything went right. Deeply herbal, rhubarb nose. Perfect acidity for ‘Amatriciana. Bright and tangy yet mildly long. I don’t have other vintages to compare with. But thanks Fletcher for this one! — 9 days ago
