Rustic and zesty. It’s got crunchy wild cherry fruit and loads of wet Novarese gravel, with a little barnyard funk. Lively and crisp in the mouth, with a bit of chalky tannin to give it a little physicality. It was fantastic to wash down pasta bolognese.

UPDATE: On night two, this wine has put on a bit of weight. Upping rating from 8.9 to 9.0. — 7 years ago
