A great bottle. Floral and lifted. Anise and mid season cherries and xmas spice. Woodsy. Palate is ripe, juicy and charming. Fresh and energetic and velvety, powdery tannins. Great length. Grippy but also gluggable.

Nov 11th, 2022Nice wine from alto Piemonte. Quite a lovely and typical Nebbiolo. Great balance of fruit and earth. Some refreshing acid on the finish which elevates this. Good pairing with meatballs.

Lovely nose - at this stage, the aromatics are more advanced than the palate. Sweet elegant fruit; astringent tannins on the finish showing further developments lie in store. Easy drinking, but structure & purity take this above and beyond strictly glou.

Woods, woods, & autumnal woods.
Light brown/reds abound. Cherries and leather and dead leaves, trees. Definitely a wine that hasn’t been futzed with. Gulpable as L.F. is known do say.
Hits those casual Nebbiolo notes across the spectrum, perfect w left over Sunday gray and ravioli.
Thanks @FassSelections

Really a very nice alto Piemonte. Such a refined and perhaps even gentle Nebbiolo. Tannins relatively smooth which surprised me a bit. Wonderful refreshing acid and nice finish. Delicious pairing with iberico pork on the grill.
