First time for this producer and very rarely have wines from the Orange District. Lovely aromatics, not really Cab Sauv but then I noticed the blend was 45% Cab Sauvignon; 45% Cab Franc; 10% Shiraz. A lovely Aussie right bank rendition you might say. Red and black fruits with plum and tobacco notes. The palate is sweetish and luscious texture with supple tannins. This wine proves that Orange Is an accredited Australian wine district for both Reds and Whites taking in Hilltops. Have experienced the excellent whites from here and must seek out more Reds based on the quality of this wine. — 6 days ago

Fresh, delicious and easy to drink Pinot. Great finish. Cranberry or cherry notes — a month ago
The battle of the Syrah versus the Shiraz. This time Shiraz from Torbreck won (the Factor). The Royal City Syrah was just as complex but the bold fruit and its sweetness were hiding some of the underlying earthy and mineral notes. Almost a bit out of balance. Still really good and made us fight over the last drop with our friends. — 4 hours ago
Light golden in color and very pretty.
Strong nose of citrus, lemons, yellow apples, diesel, spices, minerals, light tropical fruits, sea salt and pineapples.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity, crisp and creamy.
Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, apples, pears, light diesel, pineapples, white pepper, light earth, herbs and spices.
Long tangy finish with limes and black pepper.
This is a very tasty Riesling from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and rich.
Although easy to drink, it is more of thinking wine. A good quality wine with lots to offer. The spicy finish makes it interesting.
Very expressive right out of the bottle, and calmed down after 30 minutes of airtime. Better when not too cold.
This 4 year old is drinking so fresh, and I love that. Would age nicely in the next 10 years. One of the better dry Rieslings that I had from California. Has the potential to be a 94+ point wine.
Good by itself or with food. I had it all by itself by the pool.
12.8% alcohol by volume.

We now resume our regular programming. Maybe the 2016 needed a little more time but it just had too much pepper to it. 2017 is your classic Charles smith Rhone style. Bold fruit, long spicy finish. This is the only wine I buy by the case besides last year... time to place an order — a month ago
