Great, but the 2018 better - a little more horsepower. — 14 days ago
Aged gracefully, super smooth tannins, dark ruby color, fruit perfect for a 14 year old wine. Thicker mouthfeel. Concentrated. — 13 days ago
Served with Fisherman’s Pasta - sablefish, mussels, saffron gnocchetti pasta, fennel, fresh baguette toast. If there is one thing constant about every Lopez de Heredia Blanco that I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying, it’s that they are never boring. The 2006 delivers on that with notes of dates, dried apricot, German candied nuts, marshmallows, cumin, dill and toasted coconut. Dry with fantastic acid and the texture is waxy. One of my favorite white wines on earth. Will probably live for another 20 years easy. — 20 days ago
Bountiful of red berries and cranberries no both aromas and taste. Powerful and rich body structure. Well-balanced, round tannins, bright acidity. Long finish and enticing texture. — 6 days ago
Since moving to Barcelona, I’ve been looking for wines that dare to use varietals that are not the same handful of French clones one sees all over the world. I’m also looking for lighter wines, which my wife prefers. This fit the bill perfectly: 100% Mencía @ 13.5% ABV and highly recommended by the botiga in my barri. Delicate and earthy. Hints of ripe plums and peppercorns. — 20 days ago

Beautiful Spanish maker of more than a century that may have the best price/value relationship of any winemaker. — 6 days ago
