dark fruit, pepper, even tannins. not coming across 100% cab often in Italian wines, and appreciated the mellower oak than peers. — 22 days ago
2019 vintage.
Let’s all agree Brunello di Montalcino are expensive but Rosso di Montalcino are great value.
Brunello’s little brother.
Col D’Orcia are great producers.
Deep ruby red colour with floral and ripe red fruits of strawberries and cherry on the nose.
Light body with cherry, bright raspberry, and tobacco with high acidity and crispy tannins.
Really clean finish
I would drink this every day. — 3 months ago
Excellent Brunello 2008, in Dec 22 — a month ago
Feels like this is in an awkward place now. The well-integrated oak spiced fruits have faded a bit, and the tertiary notes are quite shy. Still quite enjoyable with greatly textured palate and soft round tannins. — a month ago

2016 vintage. Bit o’grip but plenty of adjacent fruit. A little tight currently but aims to please. Look to hit it in starting in 2026. — a month ago
