Les Longeroies Marsannay Pinot Noir 2015

Morello cherries. Cherry bomb. Almost to much cherry but good for Valentine’s day. I am very surprised my wife does not like it. A little harsh. Needs may be 5 more years. Lime, very tart. Lacks a little bit on secondary interesting flavors. — a month ago

En Orveaux Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2006

Quite deep still clinging to ruby with a wide quite garnet rim. On the nose touches of sous bois , spice , red fruits , cherry , raspberry and strawberry , porcini . On the palate quite rich and rounded with sweet black cherry , fresh strawberry, raspberry , very good acidity and rounded but quite grippy tannins . In a lovely spot now but will go further , for now and over the next 10 years. — 3 months ago

Rose petal nose, touch of manure. Pretty classic cab franc vin de soif. Light but elegant and food friendly. — a month ago

@Byron Hewett Had a killer bottle of Caithard Malconsorts, 2007, back in December 2018. Was simply fabulous.

Intense & rich but mineral and refreshing. Great value for money in the grand scheme of things. Very drinkable ! — a month ago

Bourgogne Aligoté 2021

Fresh & vibrant.
Ripe pear, apple peel, a sprinkle of fresh herbs (tarragon?), a bit of seaweed. So pure & fresh.
Love the electric tension on the palate! Purity, depth, zingy acidity whetting the palate. Stoney minerality, salty acidity, a bit of pear and green apple, quince. Sharp as a razor and yet not astringent. So juicy.
A finish that goes on & on.
Brilliant with Japanese food through the saline & umami profile.
Love it!
