Learned helplessness. Man 12%. And 20$ or so. I just can’t help it - this is the best Rosé ever. Unfiltered. This was really shaken not stirred when I traveled about town before it was popped. Tart, rhubarb gal-lore!!! Lemon. Typically I hate Rosé’s which often taste like nothing / this ain’t it. — 3 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 (S) pours a deep ruby/purple with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe strawberry, Bing cherry, red and purple flowers, red rope licorice, rocky earth and cool spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. This vintage of Lapierre shows the warmth of the vintage and oozes generosity. In some ways, this reminds me of the 2015 vintage. Drink now through 2033+. — 4 months ago

One of my favorites from Provence, mineral but a juicy note with peach and strawberry, crisp and light — 10 months ago
The 2021 Rosé Ode to Lulu shows mineral-tinged aromas of red berries, nectarine and citrus zest complemented by herb notes. Silky and energetic on the palate, offering white peach, strawberry and tangerine flavors with delineation and tension. A floral note lingers on the finish. $24.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2022) — 4 years ago

A little different from the Rosés I drink but pleasant. Soft on the palate with micro oxygenation. Blood orange, we’ll cook rhubarb, poached strawberries, orange & tangerine citrus blend, some white citrus, extremely soft powdery chalkiness, limestone marl, baguette crust, crush rocks, light red & pink florals ( roses), nice acid, well balanced finished fruit & earth. 80% Pinot 20% Chardonnay @ Compline Tasting Bar — 3 years ago
Aromas of strawberry, pomelo, watermelon, rose petal, sea breeze, and hint of thyme. The palate adds additional red berries, citrus, and faint earthy notes. Medium body that is nicely textured. Fresh yet round acidity. There is off-dry sensation on the otherwise slightly savory medium finish.
Lovely but pricy rose. — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2019 pours a dull ruby color with a slight brownish tinge; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears and signs of fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe strawberry, raspberry, watermelon, pomegranate, mushroom, and gravel. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. This is fantastic and squarely in the zone. Drink now though, it’s not going to fall off a cliff on the next couple years. — 4 months ago

Light salmon hue. Aromas and flavors of apricot, bubblegum, cherry, grapefruit, lemon, saline, strawberry. Clean with a subtle, satisfyingly sweet finish on the palate. Balanced and drinking very well. 50% Hondarrabi Zuri, 50% Hondarrabi Beltza. — 9 months ago
From 109% Alsatian Pinot Noir. Light pink/salmon color. Nose features strawberry, raspberry and orange zest. Bright red berry and red apple flavors. Medium bodied and a nice mousse with tiny bubbles that hang around for a reasonable amount of time. Juicy fruit with a clean and dry finish. — 3 years ago
