Excellent 2019 served with pasta and heavy meat sauce. This didn’t need long to breathe. — 7 days ago
— 24 days ago
Vintage 2010 | gave it two hours in decanter, a barnyard stinky in smell (not everyone appreciates this, I do), cedar very present, hints of spices and a good concentration. When accompanied with food it is ready to drink now. Fine right bank wine, neighbour of Cheval Blanc (I take a special interest in neighbours of the priceless top domaines). — 14 days ago
Super earthy at first, but with air the fruit/earth balance is equilibrating. Loads of irony/clay notes in the nose, with dark plummy fruit. Tannins are integrating but still present. This presents more like a 20th Century right bank wine than what is usual now, with fruit and softness but no overripeness and a nice sense of restraint. — 18 days ago
Capital Grill. Deep ruby coloration. Full bodied. Lush and velvety with notes of dark berry and chocolate. Hope to revisit in a non- restaurant setting. — 18 days ago

2018 vintage. Last tasted 02.21.22 (9.5). Same tonight. Expressive nose and great body. On the path to pleasure. Really difficult to source this specific vintage currently. Grrr. 04.07.25. — a day ago
