This is a Postino exclusive wine I got with my partner! It’s deep, fruity, and easy to drink. It paired beautifully with a brussel sprout salad topped dried cherries and spicy almonds. Easily my favorite Syrah so far. — 2 years ago
Yes yes yes.
This has lots of wonderful flavors: it's crisp and refreshing, with asian-pear notes and even a hint of smoke on the finish. Very complex and delicious.
We drank it for a toast — much to everyone's delight. We also paired it with a gnocchi and Brussel sprout dish, full of parmesan and lemon. This is a wonderful food-friendly wine. Don't limit your enjoyment of this to toasts: make a whole meal around it! — 4 years ago
A wine that highlights on the palate secret flavors camouflaged by velvety tannins from cabernet franc. It exudes a captivating mixture of insinuating minerals to sprout from the earth to the fruits. Lovers who enjoy the pleasure of mutual donation from the region's climate. A wine to make love. A great enemy to defy time. Wine to drink for two or surprise friends. — 7 years ago
Bright, light with a touch of creaminess to really smooth out this bouncy wine. Slight floral on the nose and tart green apples with pears rounding it out. Perfect with a Rosemary Brussel Sprout & Ricotta Cannelloni I made! — 7 years ago
A very nice Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands, paired w/ bbq’d chicken thighs, potato salad and an AWESOME Brussels sprout salad — 7 years ago
High acidity in the bouquet. Lemon, lime. The smell of roses burned.
I don’t usually enjoy Chianti, but I must admit I haven’t really give it a fair shot either. A few bad impressions have left me gravitating towards the northern Piedmont region.
The acidity and tartness work here. Listening to Cajun folk pop music, reading a book by candlelight, and staying in from the eminent winter storm outside, this wine promises to keep me warm, surprised, and as leafy jovial as a Spring day in Central Park.
This is a juicy treat of a wine — one that makes me astonished how the Earth can sprout something so jammy and full of life from its soil and soul.

Vintage 2018 | tasted and drunk over three days. With this cuvée Montdoyen challenges at Cru Bourgeois level. Made from 80 % cabernet franc and 20 % cabernet sauvignon. 14 months barrel aging. Montdoyen is situated in Monbazillac/Bergerac. Impressive in smell and taste with nice red fruit, vanilla and good structure. Paired with a steak and Brussels sprout. Curious to cellar and see what happens. High priced, so moderate p/q. — 2 years ago
Let this one open up. It has the depth to match with earthy dishes like a crimini mushroom and Brussel sprout sautéed. And it’s clean enough to work with a citrus roasted salmon. — 5 years ago
12 years old and it has such phenominal notes and body. Perfect with brussell sprout and smoked pancetta pizza. — 7 years ago
Delicious—crisp, minerally, hint of pineapple. Ate with Brussels sprout risotto — 7 years ago
After 4 hours decant, yummy, fried calfs liver and brussel sprout. This wine is Bordeaux old school magic, love it🇫🇷🍷🥊 — 7 years ago
A red I got in a small festival in a relatively new shop close to home.
Limited myself to red wine and this one seemed quite intresting so I fetched a bottle.
Condensed red with long legs 👁️
Red dry fruit with some pepper with funk on the background 👃
Medium high acidity.
Medium body of ripe fruit followed by spices that linger on 👄
Medium pleasant 🎯 with the spices taking their time, leaving you with some enjoyable alcohol burn and well integrated tannin dryness.
It's interesting and very drinkable. Me and a friend drank it slowly yet happily during a long slow weekend brunch.

Not my fave style (dark fruit with strong spice) but well made.
Good vfm (89 nis) for a well oaked red.
Paired surprisingly well with spicy but not hot feast that included carrot, pistachio and curry soup, cauliflower and brussel sprout stir fry, some shakshuka and tahini and beet. — 8 years ago
Vintage 2021 | Vieilles Vignes Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. Lovely sun-drenched cherries, spicyness and oops-tannins, so I gave this 4,5 hours in decanter. Creaminess as result. I a very happy with this Minervois that got a Coup de Coeur in Hachette. Paired with venison stew, beetroot, Brussels sprout and a curries pointed cabbage. And cheese. Incredible good p/q ratio. — 2 years ago
What a rich, rounded and wonderful wine!
Paired with a shaved Brussel sprout salad and it was marvelous. The structure was still there after 17 years but the mouthfeel was rounded and smooth. Just a delight. — 3 years ago
With shaved brussel sprout buttermilk ranch salad — 4 years ago
12-19-20. Julia bought it at Heinen’s. Great with Brussels sprout pasta. — 6 years ago
Prankster
Light haze to bright gold with a tinge of tangerine. Atmospheric and fast head forms and deconstructs in a swirl to cobwebs. Mantis lacing. Yeasty-brussel sprout-y, yam-earthy, baked orange, caramelized leek, and dried grapefruit savoriness to the rustic aromatics. Supple citrus blobs of soft orange and grilled lemon and grapefruit bob in a nutritional-yeasty soup of acorn squash and malty carrot, a nano pepper, and even less cedar or cinnamon bark. We would be splitting hairs to go further, but there are gingery spices and ginseng suggestions, ghosts of allspice and serpent breath. Pranq it up!

Vintage 2023 | I find it a great joy to drink young Cabernet franc when there is such an explosion of raspberry in smell and taste. | paired with Brussels sprout stew with frankfurters — a year ago
