Better than when i tried the wine earlier. So it did need 10 year. Still the 10’ continues to be more or less a dud across the board. With few exceptions. This wine is at the end of his life. Tannins well resolved although plenty left, hint cherry 🍒 . Orange juice. — 9 months ago
Hola!!!! Smelled like arse and then became this beauty. — 2 months ago
Nice but not quite at the level I was hoping. Maybe a bit past its prime? Quite a deep yellow in the glass. Lots of body. Has a bit of a pronounced lanolin quality. Would not have guessed Chablis, doesn’t have the acid or cut. Was hoping it would come together more on day 2 but never quite got to where I was hoping. — 6 months ago
Notes of plum, earth, soy sauce. I thought tannins were still fairly pronounced but not rough. Lovely pairing with our smoked abalone and black cod….. — a year ago
Beautiful color. Burn copper around the rim. Nose of pomegranate, tart red cherry, dusty minerals, dry dirt, old cellar. Dusty tannins dry out the mouth quickly. Really delicate and quickly fading acidity. Palate has the dusty minerals, sand, tart red fruit, tree bark. The tannins tell me wait another 1-2 years, but the acidity says drink. The drying tannins hide the palate a bit. — 4 months ago
Very minerally...slightly musty but not in a bad way. Strong showing — 9 months ago
